Privacy Policy

Unhinged Date Ideas is made by Natasha Card. This policy covers the iPhone app and this website (unhingeddating.co.uk).

You can use the app without an account

Sign in with Apple is optional. Guest mode works. If you sign in, we use it to sync favourites, done ideas, lore, and pack choices to your account so they follow you onto another device.

What we collect

• Date inputs you type. Names, limits, budget, energy, vibes, location text. These stay on your device unless you use Partner Mode or sign in.
• Optional location. Only if you allow it, to suggest nearby venues. We do not track you in the background.
• Optional photos and notes. Only if you attach them to a finished activity. On a live two-phone date they are sent to our partner server so both phones can show them, then stored on each phone for Lore.
• Partner rooms. A short code plus your inputs and night progress, kept about 48 hours so the two phones can stay in sync.
• Purchases. Chaos Pass is billed by Apple. We never see your full card details. We only see whether this Apple ID currently has Pass.
• Signed-in cloud data. Lore, favourites, done ideas, and packs, stored with a service provider (Supabase) under your account id.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your date notes or photos for ads. We do not require an account to generate ideas.

Who else might see data

Hosting and partner rooms run on Vercel (and Redis if configured). Signed-in sync uses Supabase. Purchases use Apple. Exclusive idea generation sends your limits (not photos) to our idea API so we can invent a list. Venue lookup may send a place type and approximate location to a maps provider.

Your choices

Turn off location, skip photos, stay a guest, or delete the app to remove local data. To delete a signed-in account and its synced lore, email natasha.card@outlook.com.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 17. Do not use it if you are younger than the age required for dating-related apps in your country.
