Terms of Use

These terms cover the Unhinged Date Ideas iPhone app and this website, provided by Natasha Card. By using either, you agree to them.

The service

We generate date ideas from the limits you set. Ideas are suggestions, not instructions. You are responsible for what you actually do, for checking venue hours and safety, and for treating your partner decently. Hard limits in the app are a filter, not a guarantee.

Accounts

You can use the app as a guest. Sign in with Apple is optional. Keep your Apple ID secure. Do not use the app if you are under 17, or under the legal age for this kind of app where you live.

Chaos Pass

Chaos Pass is an optional auto-renewable subscription sold through Apple (monthly and yearly). Price is shown in the app. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. The subscription renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. On a live two-phone date, one person’s Pass can unlock Pass perks for that room only. That is not a second Apple subscription and it does not transfer after you leave the room.

Purchases made while testing a pre-release build are not a paid production subscription.

Partner rooms and content

If you share a room code, the other person can see the shared list, night progress, and any notes or photos you attach to finished activities. Do not upload photos or text you do not have the right to share. Rooms expire after a short time. We may remove content that is illegal or abusive.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt to break into it, scrape it at scale, or use generated ideas to harm anyone. We can suspend access if you do.

Disclaimer

The app is provided “as is”. Ideas, venues, and maps info can be wrong or out of date. We are not liable for dates gone sideways, travel, injury, or third-party venues. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months (often zero if you only used the free tier).

Changes

We may update the app and these terms. The date at the top is the latest version. If you keep using the app after a change, the new terms apply.
